Covia is looking for a dynamic

who will have a positive impact on the operations team at its

location. As an

, you will have the opportunity to learn and participate in the various aspects of operating a successful plant as well as participating in assigned projects to benefit the operation.

- Learn, and adhere to, the safety principles of Covia including PPE, OHSA regulations, industrial hygiene, workplace inspections, etc.

- Work with the Process Engineering Team and learn plant processes, sampling techniques, Tromp curve generation, etc.

- Work with the Process Engineering Team to gain a basic understanding of grinding, flotation, drying, screening, and loading.

- Work with the Process Engineering Team to gain a basic understanding of quality control, sampling, data management, reporting, continuous improvement, basic engineering studies etc.

- Complete monitoring duties in accordance with regulatory requirements.

- Focus on noise reduction initiatives, audits, and data collection.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

The Successful Incumbent Will Have The Following Minimum Qualifications

- Pursuing a degree in Engineering (mining, mechanical, industrial, chemical, etc.) or a related field of study from an accredited university

- Interested in developing a career in Engineering

- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

- The ability to think logically and communicate ideas with others

- Willingness to interact and thrive in a diverse group dynamic

- Demonstrate analytical and business skills
