Windsor Salt's Evaporation Facility in Windsor, Ontario, has an opening for an engineering co-op Student for the summer 2026 term. The successful applicant will provide technical support to the engineering and management teams at Windsor Salt.
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor project assignments
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans) and report regularly on project status
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
- Assist project engineers in matters relating to the selection of new equipment, material substitution, and prescheduled alterations or repairs as required
- Safety-conscious team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Be registered in an accredited University Engineering Co-op Program
- Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD is an asset
- A G/G2 Driver's License is mandatory for this position
The expected compensation for this position is $22/hour. This posting is for a temporary contract position (May through August 2026). Windsor Salt does not require Canadian work experience and does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to screen or assess applicants.
