DMC is currently looking for a

to join our team on a contract basis, based in

. The Engineering Co-op/Intern student will be responsible for supporting the engineering team by contributing to team’s objectives while developing foundational skills.

- Prepares simple plans and designs, calculations and bills of material.

- Uses established codes, standards, drawings and other specifications.

- Records observations, performs calculations and prepares reports on assignments.

- Uses computer-aided design and drafting equipment and techniques.

- Few technical decisions are required and these are of a routine nature with ample precedent or clearly defined procedures as guidance.

- Works under close supervision. Work is regularly reviewed for accuracy, adequacy and conformance with prescribed procedures.

- Participates in meetings, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiative

- Follow company standards, safety procedures, and best practices

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Engineering program (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Process Controls, Structural, Civil, or related discipline).

- Related co-op or work experience is an asset.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Additional Information

- Hourly Range is expected to be between: $20.00 to $25.00 CAD

- This role can be performed hybrid from site and remotely.
