Energy Data Management & Application Specialist

Primary Function

Under general supervision, implements, maintains, and supports energy data management functions, including computer applications, meter data management systems, and market processes; manages and validates interval meter data, including accuracy, integrity, and flow of energy data from field generators and ties infrastructure; identifies corrupt data, resolves problems and coordinates work with EMS and field personnel in solving issues; provides support to the District’s participation in the electric market; and applies CAISO dispute resolution market process. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineer, data management, or related degree and five years of increasingly responsible database management systems, SCADA, computer design, maintenance and applications, programming, electronic data handling and storage experience.

Licensing & Certification Requirements

Veteran's Preference (External Applicants Only): Submit DD form 214 or other evidence of veterans' status by the job posting deadline.

A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment.
