As we continue to expand, we are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Energy Consultant Coordinator to support our sales team by managing leads, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a seamless customer journey.
The Energy Consultant I plays a crucial role in our sales process by efficiently managing inbound and outbound leads, setting high-quality appointments for our Energy Consultants, and ensuring timely follow-ups. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead Management: Track, organize, and manage all inbound and outbound leads using SEP’s CRM system.
- Appointment Scheduling: Contact potential customers, qualify leads, and schedule appointments for Energy Consultants to conduct solar consultations.
- Follow-Up & Nurturing: Engage with leads through calls, texts, and emails to ensure consistent follow-up and maximize conversion rates.
- CRM & Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, appointments, and lead statuses.
- Coordination with Sales Team: Work closely with Energy Consultants to optimize their schedules and ensure a steady flow of qualified appointments.
- Customer Prequalification: Gather key details from prospective customers, including energy usage, roof condition, and financing preferences, to streamline the consultation process.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor appointment conversion rates and provide regular reports to sales leadership.
- Assist in Marketing & Outreach: Support lead-generation efforts by engaging with prospects from marketing campaigns, home shows, and referral programs.- 1+ years of experience in an appointment-setting, sales support, or customer service role.
- Strong phone communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Experience using CRM software and sales tracking tools (preferred but not required).
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a commitment to meeting and exceeding appointment-setting goals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of solar energy or home improvement industries is a plus but not required.
