Currently seeking an Electrical System Engineer in our Gillette, WY location.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Electrical System Engineer to join our team in Gillette, Wyoming.

The chosen candidate will play a vital role in our engineering department, focusing on load forecasting, long-range planning, operation support, distribution coordination and protection. As well as opportunities to innovate and grow across the cooperative business.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Qualifications

Passion for utility engineering with an interest in long-range planning.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Excellent communication, member service and problem-solving abilities.

5+ years of electric utility or related experience

Skills

- Ability to perform complex engineering analysis and planning for system specifications and requirements. B. Knowledge of transmission and distribution system operations.

- Ability to organize work and meet deadlines.

- Knowledge and experience in utilization of computer application for engineering functions. Working knowledgewith Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Milsoft WindMil, and LightTable, as well as other software applications utilized within PRECorp.

- Solid interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to be an effective member of a team are required.

- A high degree of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information will be required.

- A valid driver's license is required.
