Electrical Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting.

- Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability and safety of certain design models.

- Estimate time and cost to complete projects.

- Simulate and test machine/structure/system operation.

- Investigate and test vendors’ and competitors’ products.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering required AND 2+ years experience required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

- Basic drawing layouts

- Electrical harnesses and components

- CAD Software – Preferably PTC Creo

- Positive communication skills and resolution process thinking

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Attention to detail

- Time Management

- Clear communication, written and oral

DESIRED SOFT SKILLS:

- Knowledge of Teamcenter Software

- Knowledge of ASME engineering standards

Salary expectations: $55,000 – $60,000
