In this position you will be responsible for assisting in the development, scale-up, manufacturing, production, design, testing and quality control of hardware and software products for a new line of electro-chemical sensors.
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with some experience in Computer Science
- Understanding and ability to perform routine testing and experimental design.
- Familiarity with research lab or currently working on a research project
- Experience in machine shop and prototyping environment
- Setup, operate, and work independently on tasks
- Experience in software development helpful
- Possess technical skills for soldering, troubleshooting, maintenance and testing of circuits and sensors
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi, BTLE, MEMS and other types of traditional sensors a plus
- Able to read and understand wiring diagrams for small project assembly.
- Able to read and understand mechanical drawings
- Experience with ARM or equivalent embedded microprocessor architectures
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team player
- Good oral and written skills for communication and documentation of technical information
- Meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload
- Research independently, keep current with technological developments, and possess the ability to learn new skills and solve problems
- Must be detailed oriented and capable of adjusting standard operating procedure as needed.
