We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for large‑scale automation and material handling projects. This role plays a key part in creating electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and system documentation while contributing to field commissioning, cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates with varying levels of experience-from early career to seasoned professionals—are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities and project ownership will scale with experience.
- Apply and help refine electrical design standards, templates, and documentation practices.
- Develop and maintain I/O lists, wire schedules, panel layouts, and part libraries.
- Support compliance efforts for UL508A, NEC, and IEC standards.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure consistency, scalability, and risk mitigation.
- Create electrical schematics for low‑voltage control panels and support higher‑complexity system designs involving MCCs, VFDs, servo systems, and integrated safety circuits.
- Assist with or lead panel builds, wiring checks, and point‑to‑point verification depending on experience level.
- Provide field support during commissioning, including troubleshooting and implementing redlines or revisions.
- Contribute to final as‑built documentation and certification packages.
- Work closely with Controls, Mechanical, and Project Engineering teams to ensure alignment on design requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Fabricators to support timely handoffs and panel readiness.
- Participate in internal and customer design reviews, offering technical input or documentation support.
- Engage in training, mentorship, and knowledge‑sharing activities appropriate to your experience level.
- Stay current on emerging electrical technologies, components, and industry standards.
- Support initiatives related to design automation, BOM standardization, and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities for personal development and contribute to long‑term departmental capability building.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- 0–8+ years of experience in electrical design, industrial automation, or control panel development- Experience level will determine project scope, autonomy, and leadership expectations.
- Familiarity or proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar drafting tools.
- Understanding of UL508A, NEC, and IEC standards, as well as industrial power and safety systems.
- Knowledge of industrial panel wiring, components, and safety devices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines.
- High attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills, and a desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to travel up to 35% for onsite support, commissioning, or customer engagement.
