Responsible for ensuring district equipment operates and performs as designed. Also, responsible for ensuring adequate spare parts are in inventory to maintain electronics on district equipment, district electronic PM program is maintained and district electronics perform as designed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of supervisory responsibilities including, hiring, training, scheduling of work, performance counseling and recommendations for promotions, demotions and termination of employment of district electronic technicians.
- Work with district Maintenance Manager and Maintenance supervisors to ensure district equipment operates and performs as designed.
- Work with Maintenance Manager to ensure district E-Tech department is properly staffed, set schedules and trained.
- Ensure Electronic PM’s are being properly performed on all equipment in the district.
- Work with Parts Manager to ensure spare parts inventory is maintained and managed to ensure timely repairs of equipment.
- Work with field mechanics and shop mechanics to help troubleshoot and repair equipment on location and on the facility as needed.
- Ensure all district equipment has current software and updates as provided by IT and Engineering department.
- Complete required reports and paperwork in accordance with specific timelines
- Work with Division DSE to ensure district is receiving support as needed.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Associate degree in Electronics or related field, preferred
- 3+ years field experience or equivalent job experience, preferred- Some travel required
- Sensitive to confidential information
- Must work independently and as a member of team
- Able to read, speak and write English.
- Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to achieve job functions.
- Sitting – at desk or computer station, standing, walking, speaking, hearing – frequent
- Bending/Stooping, twisting, lifting – occasional
- Gripping, reaching, writing, fingering (data entry), handling (paper, files, etc) – frequent
- Able to work under stressful conditions at times.

- Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week unless otherwise directed by supervisor.
