Job Summary
The Depot Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the depot, ensuring efficient management of resources, and maintaining high levels of customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and driving sales initiatives to achieve business objectives. The Depot Manager will also play a key role in negotiating with suppliers and managing relationships to optimize purchasing strategies.
Responsibilities
•
Supervise and lead a team of depot staff, ensuring effective shift management and performance monitoring.
•
Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed to meet customer demand.
•
Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing for products.
•
Oversee cash handling processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
•
Drive sales initiatives by implementing marketing strategies and promoting products effectively within the market.
•
Maintain high standards of customer service through effective phone etiquette and team management.
•
Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance skills related to sales, customer interaction, and operational procedures.
•
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the depot operations.
Skills

Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and shift coordination.

Proficient in market analysis and understanding of sales dynamics to drive business growth.
•
Excellent negotiation skills for effective supplier interactions.
•
Experience in cash handling procedures and financial accountability.
•
Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers alike.
•
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
•
Familiarity with clerical duties related to inventory management and reporting processes.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20,000.00 - $450,000.00 per month
