Key Responsibilities:

•

Assists with all daily warehouse functions (shipping, receiving, pulling and consolidating orders, documentation of work). Oversee inventory processes, loading and unloading. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system

•

Procurement of warehouse inventory to include lubricants/DEF

•

Evaluate and manage staff performance. Recruit and select Warehouse and Driver staff. Organize orientation and training of new staff members. Coach, mentor and discipline staff as needed.

•

Dispatch equipment and drivers to fulfill customer orders. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

•

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

•

Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

•

Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

•

Submit ad hoc capital expenditure requests for equipment with justification to Branch Manager as needed or required.

•

Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement

•

Employee must demonstrate safe work and risk management practices. Communicate and enforce all safety and security issues. Report and process all employee and/or customer incidents or unsafe acts in accordance with Parkland USA’s policy and procedure

Requirements:

•

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

•

Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience

•

3 years’ experience in the oil/lubricant field

•

Proficient verbal and written communication skills
