Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and leading receipts of materials, leading cycle counts/physical inventory, and tracking all materials transferred to job sites. The role involves leadership, problem-solving, and the implementation of technology solutions to enhance overall warehouse performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Coaching and leading the warehouse inventory team to ensure proper inventory controls are in place and inventory process is audited. This includes but is not limited to verifying physical counts on outbound/inbound shipments, inventory accuracy in our ERP (Viewpoint Vista) and material kitting.
•Become of “super-user” of our ERP (Viewpoint Vista).
•Perform space analyses to determine warehousing efficiency.
•Collaborating with our Logistics Coordinator and Warehouse Manager to verify 2-week labor plan and alignment on outbound shipments to job sites.
•Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products/materials.
•Communicate trucking issues (late shipments, unexpected truck quantities) to the Logistics Coordinator.
•Operate equipment safely and efficiently. Train new teammates on equipment operation.
•Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
•2+ years of warehouse leadership experience.
•2+ years of WMS or ERP experience.
•1 year forklift operation experience.
•Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
•Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability for accuracy.
•Intermediate to strong Microsoft Excel skills.
•Must be a safety conscious individual and able to adhere to company safety standards.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
•Work is performed in a warehouse/field environment. May be required to drive company vehicle when delivering material, must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Ability to lifting up to 50 lbs., twist, bend and stand for more than 1 hour. Overtime may be necessary, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
