Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory and logistics operations in our Fresno, CA warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in the solar or electrical industry, be forklift certified, demonstrate strong computer skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
•Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials for solar installations.
•Shipping & Receiving: Manage all incoming and outgoing shipments—inspecting materials for quality and accuracy, preparing deliveries, and coordinating logistics to job sites.
•Warehouse Organization: Implement and maintain efficient storage systems to ensure a clean, organized, and functional warehouse environment.
•Forklift Operations: Safely operate and maintain forklift equipment. Ensure up-to-date certification and adherence to equipment safety standards.
•Team Leadership: Supervise and support warehouse staff, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
•Documentation & Systems Management: Maintain detailed records of inventory, shipping, and receiving. Leverage software systems to manage inventory, generate reports, and support warehouse efficiency. → Strong computer literacy is a must—especially in using spreadsheets, inventory tracking software, and cloud-based systems.
•Safety Compliance: Enforce workplace safety standards and protocols to ensure a secure environment for all team members.
•Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, installers, and procurement teams to support job site readiness and smooth operations.
•Fleet Management: Oversee vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and cleanliness for a small fleet of company vehicles.
Qualifications:
•Prior warehouse management experience—preferably in the solar or electrical industry.
•Forklift certification (required).
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Strong computer skills; proficiency with Excel, inventory software, and basic reporting tools.
•Self-starter with a proactive, “get-it-done” mindset.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Willingness to travel locally between Fresno and Clovis, CA.
•Associate degree or higher preferred.
•Committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
