Cybersecurity Operations Supervisor

Position Description: What Youll Do

Lead & Architect Design and own the organizations network and infrastructure architecture. Youll make the key technical decisions from LAN/WAN design and capacity planning to infrastructure roadmaps while ensuring everything is built to scale and to standard.

Protect & Respond Serve as the top technical authority for security incidents and infrastructure security decisions. Youll collaborate with the Security Specialist on incident response strategy, review compliance remediation efforts, and keep leadership informed of emerging threats and risks.

Lead Your Team Manage, mentor, and develop a team of IT Infrastructure and Security Specialists. Youll set performance standards, conduct evaluations, handle onboarding and staffing, and build a high-performing, collaborative security operations group.

Ensure Continuity Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery protocols. Partner with project services to ensure security practices and infrastructure align with client delivery requirements and business operations.

What You Bring

Must-Have Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field - Experience: 10+ years in IT operations, including 5+ years in network/infrastructure architecture and design - Security Experience: 3+ years in security operations or security-focused infrastructure management

- Network Architecture: Proven expertise in LAN/WAN design, routing, switching, and network security integration

- Platforms: Windows Server administration, VMware/Hyper-V virtualization, and cloud infrastructure

- Security Knowledge: Firewalls, encryption, VLANs, intrusion detection, access controls, and incident response

- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or CISM preferred

Essential Requirements

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in security and infrastructure contexts

- Proven team leadership and staff development experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and IT management tools

- Able to sit/stand and perform computer work for long periods of time.

- Frequent use of hands/fingers for data entry and managing calls via Teams.

- Able to perform occasional bending, lifting, and reaching.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. if necessary.

- Visual acuity sufficient for reading computer screens and documents.

- Ability to communicate effectively verbally in-person, by phone, and via video conferencing.

- Hearing ability adequate for meetings, interviews, and collaboration.

- Ability to concentrate and maintain attention for extended periods on complex tasks.
