The Customer Service Representative/Accounting Assistant will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints as well as perform routine clerical, filing, and data entry tasks for the accounting department.
· Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on company products and services.
· Answers the phone; assists walk-in customers as needed.
· Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the Customer Service Manager or other appropriate staff.
· Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
· Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
· Conducts routine data entry for accounting department.
· Ability to multitask, especially during our busy season.
· Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
· Proficient in computer skills especially Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new software.
· Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into computer software and systems.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
