Controller

DSI is a rapidly expanding company with over one hundred employees. The Controller will manage the company’s accounting functions, maintain internal controls, oversee financial reporting, and support executive leadership with financial planning and analysis. This individual will ensure the books are closed accurately and on time, and that the company meets all regulatory and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger.

- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations.

- Manage internal controls to safeguard company assets.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

- Coordinate and manage audits with external auditors.

- Support tax preparation and filing activities.

- Provide financial insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.

- Implement and optimize accounting systems and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred but not required).

- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; at least 2 years in a leadership role.

- Experience processing payroll.

- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

- Experience with accounting software.

o Experience in Sage Intacct preferred.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Monday through Friday (40 hours a week)
