Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. The Controller will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance. This position requires a strong understanding of financial management principles, technical accounting expertise, and the ability to analyze financial data effectively.

Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

- Ensure compliance with IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.

- Manage accounts receivable processes to optimize cash flow and minimize outstanding debts.

- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.

- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

- Implement and maintain robust financial software systems for efficient data management.

- Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance on double entry bookkeeping practices.

- Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.

- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting financial practices.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.

- Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.

- Proficiency in IFRS standards and technical accounting knowledge.

- Experience with financial software systems for reporting and analysis.

- Excellent skills in account analysis, ensuring accuracy in financial statements.

- Strong written communication skills for effective financial report writing.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.

Pay: $92,251.80 - $111,098.95 per year
