This position is responsible for providing overall guidance and support for operational accounting as well
as driving business results for all Armor divisions. This position also leads a team of accounting/finance professionals.
Responsibilities include:
•Supporting Sales and Operations management in financial decision making
•Developing tools and strategies to provide critical and timely financial information to relevant
stakeholders to use as a basis to manage the business.
•Create, measure and review KPIs for all assigned divisions.
•Making recommendations to grow and improve Divisions based on qualitative and financial
analysis.
•Reviewing costing records and transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of
calculations, legitimacy of transactions and proper authorizations
•Conferring with managers regarding problem areas and making recommendations for
increasing efficiency and for procedural alternatives
•Develop and manage process for monitoring and forecasting revenues and expenditures for all
divisions
•Coordinate and lead the preparation of all Divisional budget reporting.
•Coordinate and lead year-end physical inventory and periodic cycle counts accuracy
•Preparing, reviewing and presenting monthly profitability report and monthly budget meetings
for all Divisions
•Lead and manage process for monitoring and accounting for all jobs; both percentage of
complete as well as standard revenue recognition.
•Proactively managing the cost structure of Armor divisions to determine risks in a declining
margin or sales trends
•Establishing and montoring all rates used in Manufacturing and Estimating.
•Preparing reports and other documentation as requested by our internal/external auditors and
governmental agencies
•Participating in the development of new accounting techniques in the design and
implementation of accounting subsystems, compilation of manuals for accounting and
computer application, and preparing managerial reports
•Business partner with members of leadership team.
•Evaluating employee performance (annual reviews)
•Assisting with financial evaluations and integrations of acquisitions
•Working on special projects as assigned
•Additional items as assigned by manager
PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY
This position interacts with the CEO, CFO, VP, Finance, Auditors and the finance team as well as other
managers in the company.
COMPENTENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS
•Experienced in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
•CPA designation preferred
•Significant cost accounting experience preferred
•Minimum of 7 years manufacturing accounting experience preferred
