This is a local position where you will be REQUIRED to work daily. You will be able to Work-From-Home (WFH) the majority of the time, but will be required to travel as necessary to Rochester, NY. Applicants MUST be located within New York State. Anyone applying outside of NYS will not be considered.

Overview:

ChargeSmart EV is a turnkey business solution for commercial customers, electric vehicle (EV) charging needs. We provide our customers the support they need to develop an electric charging program that fits their needs, and their customer’s needs, all while working with a single partner. We provide the service and support to ensure that our customers can build out their charging infrastructure while helping them take advantage of available state and utility incentives in their area.

Job Description:

ChargeSmart EV is hiring a full-time Controller to build and oversee our internal financial function as we enter a new phase of accelerated growth. This critical leadership role will guide financial strategy, reporting, and compliance, and support key decision-making as we scale operations. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Sage and bring strong experience in project-based accounting, with a proactive mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
