Controller

Main Purpose:

Function: Oversee all financial, and accounting activities. Responsible for budget management, financial analysis, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1- Maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies and procedure.

2- Participate in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans.

3- Ensure the capex process is supported and under control according to management expectations.

4- Prepare an accurate and complete presentation for the Executive Committee with charts and comments on time for the Executive Committee monthly business review.

5- Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures.

6- Approval of purchase order according to DOA and payment proposals in Navision.

7- Responsible for overseeing budgets, managing schedules, and ensuring that production targets are being met on time.

8- Planning, organizing, and managing operational and financial audits.

Requirements:

Experience:

Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 4-5 years of experience in a similar role in an industrial business, including up to 2 years of supervisory experience.

Oil industry experience is preferred.

CPA or a Post Graduate degree in accounting is preferred.

Must possess a thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

Thorough knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations. Thorough knowledge of principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluation.

Ability to research, compile, analyze data, and prepare complex financial reports and statements. Experienced in preparing budgets.

Skills:

Advanced computer skills, to include database management and technological analysis, and the ability to create complex analysis using software applications. Familiarity with Office; Advanced Excel; Database Management.
