Control Panel Fabricator

Motor Control Specialties (MCS) is a UL 508A Electrical Control Panel Manufacturing Facility, specializing in variable frequency drive packages. We are currently searching for a Control Panel Assembler.

Position Summary:

Assembling motor control panels, including laying out and physically mounting devices to back panels and enclosures.

Job Functions:

-Physical assembly of industrial VFD motor control panels

-Dimensionally lay out back panels and externally mounted devices

-Mount devices to back panels and enclosures using a variety of methods including drilling and tapping steel

-Operate computerized terminal, wire labeling and engraving equipment

-Check work to ensure error-free products

-Keep red-lines of any changes required during manufacturing and return to supervisor

-Maintain a neat, tidy and safe workplace

-Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

-Candidates that understand the fundamentals of electricity, electrical circuits, and can read an electrical schematic are highly preferred

-Prior experience with VFDs is preferred.

-Knowledge of AutoCAD software is a plus.

-Must be familiar with and comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.

-The position is expected to have great attention to detail and initiative to constantly learn new things and strive to make the entire team successful

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

-Basic computer skills

-2 years on the job experience or equivalent technical education preferred

-High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
