Construction Project Coordinator

Generator Supercenter of St. Louis is hiring! They are looking for a detail-oriented project coordinator who will play a key role in preparing and managing generator installation projects. This position is responsible for handling permits, drawings, site plans, inspections, internal systems, vendor systems, and appropriate documentation.

- Create jobsite Site Plans & One Line Drawings

- Prepare physical & digital job folders

- Verify sales materials, scheduling requirements, and utility coordination

- Track project milestones from sale all the way to inspections

Permit Management

- Complete & Submit Permit Applications

- Monitor permit statuses

- Coordinate with local municipalities for local code

- Maintain proper documentation of all permitting materials

Vendor Management

- Manage workflow inside Proprietary Vendor software

- Upload pertinent documentation, and statuses according to Vendor requirements

Internal Systems & Documentation

- Update project information inside of company’s software systems

- Keep up-to-date records on all jobs

- Support weekly scheduling preparation with job updates

Customer & Vendor Coordination

- Contact Customers as needed for projects

- Coordinate scheduling with subcontractors as needed

- Assist Operations Manager with project follow-up tasks and workflow improvements

- Handle call and email overflow as needed

What You'll Bring

- High School Diploma or GED Required

- Previous experience in project coordination, permitting, or similar field is preferred

- Organizational skills and detail oriented

- Ability to manage & prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to be self-sufficient & solution-oriented

- Comfortable & Proficient with Technology. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office tools. Ability to quickly learn new software systems & platforms

- Ability to create site plans & drawings

- Training provided
