Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Construction Oversight Manager opportunity in Eunice, NM at the Urenco USA (UUSA) National Enrichment Facility.
Per diem is available for those who qualify.
UUSA, operated by Louisiana Energy Services LLC, is the only commercial uranium enrichment facility operating in the US, and is located in Eunice, New Mexico.
Work Schedule: Professional work schedule/ with minimal night/ weekend support. Some nights and weekend work may be required. Employees are also subject to call-outs as needed.
Security Clearance Requirement: CAA Access and an L or Q level security clearance
Provide oversight and management of construction managers, construction activities, and work planners. The Construction Oversight Manager will be responsible for the construction element of multiple projects at the Eunice, NM site.
Interface and obtain alignment between project managers and key stakeholders to effectively implement construction schedules; coordinate, track and validate schedule adherence for construction.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for implementing an integrated construction schedule by leading and coordinating project teams across multiple organizations. Maintain effective full life cycle schedule compliance.
- Effectively communicate organizational support needs (Engineering assistance, QC assistance, etc.) for maintaining compliance with construction schedule.
- Develop a high performing team and culture that strives for safety, delivery and quality. Ensure compliance with all necessary procedural requirements to support construction in accordance with all safety requirements, design requirements, schedule expectations, cost estimates and quality requirements.
- Consult, advise, and lead projects on construction management matters.
- Support constructability reviews and advise on construction activities/requirements for projects.
- Support project change management and control. Advise on the impact of scope and project changes.
- Interface with regulatory and government agencies.
- Includes other duties and responsibilities as directed by Procedure 25 and appendices.
- Alignment with Global Procedures and Projects Standards & Expectations.
- Coordinate adequate construction management resources to support full project lifecycles.
- Direct and lead managers, supervisors, engineers, and skilled craftsmen in construction, schedules, testing and turnover of buildings, systems and components for multiple plant projects.
- Manage work planning and work management process throughout the construction cycle.
- Manage a team of individuals and direct reports in the construction process.
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field of study, Construction Management, Project Management, or similar degree
- 7+ years of related supervisory experience in construction field of which at least 3 years are in a leadership role, 5 years writing procedures and work plans. - 5+ years leadership of Construction Managers- 10 years of relevant experience in a field construction leadership role may be substituted for a degree.
- OSHA 30
- More than 10 years of related supervisory experience in construction field.
- Certifications such as CCM or PMI-CP
