YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, you will be part of the Mine Construction Department. Construction Miner 2 is an integral member supporting the safe and continuous mining operation of the underground development and production team. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

- Completed and on going competence with required core module;

- Oxy Acetylene Cutting, track installation and maintenance, pipe installation and maintenance, plus 3 other competence in relevant to UG hardrock common core;

- Housekeeping, keep work areas clean free from hazards;

- Communication – listen to and communicate with others, keep accurate records on 5 point card, aligning with daily tasks;

- Teamwork – work with others to meet and where possible exceed daily KPI’s set by supervisor.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

- Minimum 2 years experience as a Miner 2 or equivalent (4 years UG);

- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills;

- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
