Position Summary

We are hiring for a Construction Field Installation Technician (s) with at least 3 years of experience to work in our Construction department. This position assists the Superintendent in the field building CNG Fueling Stations on project sites that vary in location/geography. Installation Technicians can be based anywhere in the U.S. with reasonable access to an airport.

Duties And Responsibilities

- Assist in setting up the job site and container

- Reading plans

- Building racks for gas piping and tubing

- Supporting welders

- Install stainless steel tubing systems

- Conduct pressure tests

- Manage miscellaneous tasks related to concrete work

- Forklift and man lift operation

- Following and enforcing safety protocols

- OSHA 30-hour class and monthly safety classes

- Other duties as required

Qualifications And Skills

- Minimum of three years’ experience in a construction field or similar work environment

- Minimum three years of hands-on electrical/mechanical experience

- HS Diploma or Equivalent

- Demonstrated hands on, general construction skills

- Good communication skills and attention to detail

- Must be able to lift 60 lbs

- Experience with power tools and calculating measurements

- Forklift and man lift experience

- Wide range construction technology knowledge and materials preferred

- Ability to manage all travel plans (Concur)

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Experience with tube or conduit bending preferred

- Engine mechanical skills preferred

- Must have a current and valid driver’s license

- Ability to travel 75%

Work Hours and Arrangements

Standard Monday - Friday; 1st shift (40-hours); hours may fluctuate, based upon customer demand.

Field Installation Technicians home base can be any where in the U.S. with reasonable access to an airport. They will work with Superintendents in the field building CNG Fueling Stations on project sites that vary in location/geography.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Position requires physical effort such as that associated with driving a motorized vehicle, using hand tools, and typing on a computer. Position requires moderate lifting (30-60 lbs.), occasional need to walk on irregular surfaces, wrist and arm movements. Also requires connecting and disconnecting of valves and hoses, gauging instruments, wires, and using the corresponding tools.

Pay

The range for this role is anticipated to be $26.00-$32.00 hourly with bonus for eligible positions. Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting. The actual salary offered will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, market / business considerations, and geographic location.
