As a Building Operations Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our corporate facilities. Your goal will be to support building operations through hands‑on maintenance, system monitoring, and effective coordination with contractors and service providers. - Perform hands‑on maintenance tasks and support troubleshooting across building systems
- Manage contractors for elevators, HVAC, plumbing, electrical/data, boilers, janitorial, and other building systems
- Promote safety as a core value and complete required permits, Job Safety Analysis forms, and critical task safety pauses
- Monitor the building automation and elevator monitoring systems, and other essential facility equipment
- Review and coordinate contractor budgets, quotes, invoices, and scheduling
- Complete ServiceNow requests, including troubleshooting, coordinating support, and closing tasks
- Conduct daily checks of building systems and submit or address required maintenance
- Participate in on‑call rotation and support after‑hours and weekend emergencies
- Strong knowledge of heating, cooling, plumbing, and ventilation systems
- Carpentry skills and understanding of building codes
- Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate work effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to make sound decisions during emergencies
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to motivate, influence, and manage relationships
- Project management capabilities in a computerized environment- 5+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or a related field
- Experience generating plans, schedules, and written updates
- Experience presenting reports and maintaining documentation
- Experience coordinating with cross‑functional teams
- Previous exposure to building operations, systems maintenance, or contractor management
