Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the construction management team by coordinating various aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise in project scheduling and coordination will be essential in managing timelines and resources effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of construction processes.
Responsibilities
•Coordinate project schedules and timelines to ensure timely completion of construction activities.
•Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
•Utilize construction management software to track project progress and maintain accurate records.
•Assist in the preparation of construction estimates and budgets.
•Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
•Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
•Maintain organized files for all project-related materials and communications.
•Have experience with insurance claims and Xactimate
Experience
•Proven experience in project scheduling and coordination within the construction industry.
•Familiarity with Xactimate
•Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and contract management.
•Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•Experience working on construction sites is preferred but not mandatory.
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders.
