Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Part-time Commercial Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our commercial spaces. This individual will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for employees and visitors. Duties will include general cleaning tasks, maintaining restrooms, office spaces, conference rooms, lunchrooms, locker rooms, and other common areas as specified. The position requires adherence to a nightly detail list and the ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and an auto-scrubber.

Schedule: 2 nights per week for 3-4 hours a night (Tuesday/Thursday)

Responsibilities

- Clean offices, conference rooms, lunchrooms, locker rooms, and other common areas

- Wipe down tables, countertops, and surfaces.

- High dusting of ceilings, light fixtures, and vents at least once a month.

- Clean interior windows to maintain a professional appearance.

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors.

- Replenish restroom supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.

- Vacuum carpets and mop floors.

- Use auto-scrubber on concrete floors to ensure cleanliness.

- Ensure stairwells are maintained and clean.

- Empty trash cans in all areas and replace liners.

- Remove recycling materials as needed.

- Clean and maintain interior fountains, ensuring they are presentable and free from debris.

- Ensure all tasks on the nightly cleaning checklist are completed to standard.

Requirements

- Ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions and schedules.

- Comfortable operating standard cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and auto-scrubbers.

- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

- Reliable and punctual.

- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.

- Previous janitorial experience is a plus but not required.
