Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Combo Vac Operator to join our Grande Prairie operations. The successful candidate will operate and maintain a Combo Vacuum Unit to complete industrial cleaning, fluid hauling, hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal, and site services for oilfield and industrial clients. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate Combo Vacuum Truck for industrial cleaning and waste removal.

- Perform tank cleaning, line cleaning, pressure/steam operations, and fluid hauling.

- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections per NSC and company requirements.

- Conduct safe setup and operation of hoses, wands, water systems, and pressure equipment.

- Perform confined space entry and high-angle tasks where required (with proper training).

- Complete all required field documentation, FLHAs, invoice, and work permits.

- Maintain communication with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure efficient job execution.

- Ensure equipment is clean, inspected, and maintained in good working condition.

- Follow all Nordic Energy, client, and regulatory safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 3 driver's license with Air Brakes (Q) endorsement - Class 1 considered and asset.

- Minimum 1 year of Combo Vac or Vac Truck experience preferred.

- Clean driver's abstract

- Strong understanding of oilfield operations, hazard assessments, and safe work practices.

- Ability to lift 50+lbs, work outdoors, and complete physically demanding tasks.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing (if required).
