Coal Laboratory Preparation Technician - Driver

Primary Job Duties

- Prepares coal samples for laboratory analysis including crushing, sub-dividing and drying of coal samples - these activities require physical and constant labor input.

- Conduct physical characterization testing of coal and related materials.

- Cleaning, organization and maintenance of equipment and work areas.

- Field work at client facilities to include picking-up of samples and collection of samples.

- Successful applicants will be trained to properly perform the job duties.

Required Work Schedule

- Five to six days per week, can include Saturday and Sunday.

- Overtime as required and scheduled including call-outs, assigned overtime is mandatory.

Qualifications

- A clean driving record

- Willing and available to work the required schedules plus work the required overtime

- Solid and demonstrated work ethic - must be a consistent contributing plus productive employee

- Acceptable math and communication skills

- Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds

- MSHA Surface and/or Underground Certifications are favorable

- Must Pass Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Screening
