What You’ll Be Doing
•Develop CNC programs and machining strategies based on blueprints and specifications
•Collaborate with machinists to guide setups and oversee first-run batches
•Conduct time studies, recommend tooling, and implement process improvements
•Troubleshoot production issues and refine machining processes on the floor
•Document setups, tooling strategies, and production outcomes in detail
•Champion a clean, safe, and efficient work environment aligned with 5S principles
What You Bring
•Proficiency in G-code programming and reading complex technical drawings
•Experience with floor support and process engineering in a CNC manufacturing environment
•Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and advanced metrology tools
•Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to coach machinists on process improvements
•Familiarity with Plex software, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement practices like 5S
