We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to fabricate precision components, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, blueprint reading, and the ability to utilize various precision measuring instruments. DUTIES:
The duties for this position include:
•Developing, writing, and optimizing CNC programs for milling, turning, and other machining processes using CAM software (I.e. Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM).
•Interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
•Selecting appropriate tools, speeds, feeds, and fixtures for each job.
•Setting up CNC systems for trial runs; and troubleshooting programming issues.
•Collaborating with the production manager and fabrication team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
•Monitoring and modifying existing programs to improve productivity and quality.
•Maintaining thorough program and tooling documentation for future reference and repeatability.
•Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
•Performing other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be qualified for this position, a candidate:
•Must have 2+ years’ experience operating and programming 3-4 axis CNC machining systems.
•The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of G-code, CAD/CAM software, Fusion and CNC machine operations.
•Must be able to work Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM and some Fridays from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
•Must possess excellent math, time management, computer and people skills and have a strong attention to detail.
•Must be able to perform the physical demands of the position, which include: working in a warm to hot environment, walking, standing, bending, twisting and lifting between 30 and 50 pounds throughout the day.
•Must be able to successfully complete the required pre-employment drug screening.
