CNC Mill Machinist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with the ability to work with precision measuring instruments and various types of machinery. This role is essential for producing high-quality parts and components that meet our stringent specifications.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts.

- Interpret and read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining specifications.

- Utilize CNC programming skills to create and modify programs for optimal performance.

- Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure adherence to tolerances.

- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes through lean manufacturing principles.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

- Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus.

- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing processes.

- Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tasks.

- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments effectively.

- Knowledge of tooling, assembly processes, and welding techniques is beneficial.
