CNC Machinist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong HAAS mill and/or lathe experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of hands-on experience in a precision metal fabrication environment and a solid understanding of setup, programming, and operation of CNC equipment.

Key skills for this role include excellent technical and communication skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.

This position is hourly/non-exempt. Hours are Monday-Friday, designated shift. 40 hours minimum, overtime as needed.

Duties:

- Set up, program, and operate HAAS CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts per specifications.

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations and tolerances.

- Perform tool changes, offsets, and part inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure part quality and accuracy.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and quality standards.

- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve production efficiency and solve machining challenges.

- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines as needed.

Requirements:

- 2–5 years of CNC machining experience, preferably in a metal fabrication or job shop environment.

- Proficiency with HAAS controls (HAAS mills and/or lathes) is required.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

- Experience with G-code programming and editing preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
