CNC Lathe Setup/Operator/Programmer

Small scale machine shop is looking to hire a full time CNC Lathe setup/operator.

No students please

NO OUT OF COUNTRY PLEASE

Responsibilities

- G-code and M-code interpretation

- Machining parts from Steel, Tool Steel, Aluminum etc.

- Setup tooling and setup parts for first off

- Using micrometers and calipers to check machined parts

Qualifications

- CNC Lathe Machinist with minimum 2-3 years experience ideal

- Experience with Milling machine set-up/modifying programs/programming (Fanuc control)

- Custom job shop experience would be considered an asset

- CAM experience would be considered an asset

- Good communication skills

- Someone who is highly motivated and a team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
