Carlin - Open Pit Dispatcher

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Open Pit Dispatcher at our Carlin complex. The successful candidate will manage fleet utilization, KPI compliance, central communication, and assigning fleet as necessary for production.

- Organize schedule and dispatch workers/work crews, as well as equipment and service vehicles according to request, specifications or needs.

- Serve as the central communication contact for mine production and safety.

- Capture, validate, and record mine site data, shift, and production reports.

- Monitor traffic and heavy equipment through video cameras and fleet update screen to ensure efficient use.

- Monitor and report DSSI fatigue management events to supervisors.

- Monitor KPI’s on dashboard and follow mining plan for targets.

- Receive, prepare, and relay work orders, messages and information to and from work crews, supervisors and field inspectors.

- Facilitate decision-making for mine management and engineering crew.

- Provide accurate information to ensure informed production decisions.

- Provide notes and timelines for all MAYDAYS and coordinate as needed through AVETC system.

- Monitor fleet tires for overheating or pressure loss.

- At the supervisor’s discretion, dispatchers may be used in the field.

Qualifications

- Five (5) years of mining experience required

- Understanding of mine dispatch systems and operating software application systems

- Knowledge of standard operating procedures in mining.

- Exceptional communication skills.

- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
