To support the growth of our business line for overhead transmission and distribution lines, we're looking for a CEP who’s motivated to learn, push their limits and grow in an extremely technically rich environment.
You'll join an experienced team with members located across Canada, mainly in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Montréal, Toronto and Calgary. Made up of engineers and technicians ranging from junior to expert, the team works on a variety of projects that span the entire facility life cycle, from preliminary studies to commissioning.

- Design steel, wood and composite structures and foundations for transmission and distribution lines, and carry out detailed engineering
- Model and analyze overhead lines, cables, structures and terrain using PLS-CADD, with support from subject matter experts
- Perform electrical calculations and studies, with guidance from technical mentors
- Prepare studies, reports, cost estimates, plans and specifications
- Find solutions to technical problems that require rigour and in-depth analysis
- Coordinate multiple projects with support from experienced managers
- Participate in innovation projects to improve efficiency and collective expertise
- Visit sites occasionally for inspections, data collection or monitoring, always with proper supervision

- Bachelor's degree in civil or electrical engineering; the field of overhead lines is multidisciplinary, making it a great fit for people with broad interests
- Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
