CAD/CAM Programmer -Mastercam

HSPP is currently seeking an experienced CAD/CAM Programmer. We are looking for someone who has 5+ years’ experience, working within a manufacturing or steel industry. Roles and Responsibilities

- Operation of our current/future software packages including Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ProNest, and custom ERP software, for the purposes of providing drawings, NC code, and other related support for our CNC machines and operators.

- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate programming

- Follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team

- Produce 2D AutoCAD and 3D SolidWorks and/or designs and drawings, layouts

- Measuring and inspecting profiled parts or customer samples in order to create an electronic file when one is not provided

- Reading and producing engineering drawings for the production of sales orders

- Assigning CNC code and material for nested patterns

- Sort shop orders into groups to maximize materials utilization and minimize machine setup time

Requirements

- 5+ Years’ experience programming in Mastercam

- Proficiency in Mastercam, AutoCad & Solidworks.

- Experience in ProNest software is an asset

- Experience working in a Steel Manufacturing environment is preferred

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

- Excellent communication skills and quality assurance are required

- Position is located out of the Thorold facility

- Interviews will be held in our Mississauga facility, program test required

Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour
