We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development / Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth through managing and expanding existing client relationships, securing new business with current clients, and prospecting for new clients. A significant portion of this role focuses on serving and building new business opportunities with our established client base, while also pursuing additional prospects to grow our market share. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, a passion for safety, and a proven track record in B2B sales.
: Act as the primary point of contact for existing clients, nurturing long-term partnerships by understanding their evolving needs and identifying opportunities to provide additional FR apparel and safety solutions.
: Proactively engage with existing clients to uncover and secure new business opportunities, such as expanding product offerings or outfitting additional teams, to maximize revenue from established accounts.
: Identify and target new business opportunities in industries such as oil, gas, utilities, and construction through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and referrals to complement growth from existing clients.
: Collaborate with both existing and prospective clients to understand their safety apparel requirements, providing expert recommendations on FR clothing and related products that meet OSHA and industry standards.
: Create compelling sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth across both existing and new accounts.
: Identify opportunities to expand company’s presence in new markets, including potential strategic partnerships or alliances with industry players.
: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in FR apparel technology to position company as a market leader.
: Work closely with the sales, product, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and exceptional client experiences.
: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions in CRM software, providing regular reports to management.
: Minimum of 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in outside sales, industrial products, or safety apparel. Experience in the oil, gas, or utilities sectors is a plus.
