Bus Driver - Denison Mines - Wheeler River Construction Project

Job Overview

We are seeking responsible and attentive Bus Drivers to safely transport passengers, including project personal at the Denison Mines Wheeler River Project. The ideal candidate will be personal, have a strong sense of safety, and the ability to drive safely in remote conditions.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate 44-person buses according to traffic laws and company policies

- Transport passengers to scheduled project destinations

- Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical checks of the bus before and after routes

- Communicate effectively with passengers, staff, and dispatchers regarding schedules or delays

- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations diligently

- Keep accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and any incidents during trips

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger questions or concerns professionally

Skills

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle different situations calmly and professionally

- Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with passengers and team members

- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards

- Mechanical knowledge helpful for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance awareness

- Ability to teach safety procedures or route information when necessary

- Writing skills useful for completing reports or documentation related to trips or incidents

This position requires a valid class 1A or class 2 driver’s license appropriate for operating commercial vehicles. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to passenger safety.

Expected hours: 77 per week
