ABOUT OUR OPERATION

Agnico Eagle Mines' Upper Beaver Gold Project is situated on the traditional homelands of the Apitipi Anicinapek Nation, Beaverhouse First Nation, Matachewan First Nation and Timiskaming First Nation. YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, you will be part of the Mine Operations Department. A Miner 4 is an entry level role to Mining and may work in varied areas of Mine Haulage (Production or Services). The role supports others and is part of a team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Haulage & Rock Breaker Operations.

- Perform work safely to meet productivity expectations and schedules.

- Housekeeping - keep work areas clean and free from hazards.

- Communication - from and with others, recording accurate records on 5-point (Zero Hazard) card, aligning with daily tasks assigned.

- Teamwork - complete set tasks and actively assist others to complete their tasks.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

- Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Miner 4 or equivalent

- Ability to work both independently and as a team.

- Comfortable in all types of working conditions including confined spaces, low light, heights, hot, cold, and humid temperatures.

- Demonstrates safety awareness.

- Physically Fit, self-starter with a can-do attitude

- Tolerance for hot, cold and humid environments

- UG Common Core (Ontario)
