Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, AR, AP, and preparing financial reports. This role requires a strong understanding of Quickbooks and Excel and the ability to perform various bookkeeping tasks efficiently.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to assist management in decision-making.
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Record journal entries and perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Utilize accounting software, specifically Quickbooks Enterprise and Excel, for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Assist with audits by providing required documentation and support.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a start up or growing environment.
- Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis.
- Experience with accounts payable processes and managing vendor relationships.
- Experience with accounts recievable processes and managing customer relationships.
- Proficient in accounting software, particularly Quickbooks; familiarity with other accounting tools is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and discrepancies in financial data.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration across teams.
