Bookkeeper

JOB DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting, in-office, full-time position that includes a variety of challenges, continuous learning, and the opportunity to collaborate with various departments within our growing team at Level Steel. As a Bookkeeper you will work closely with the Controller, and your primary responsibilities willto maintain all necessary and appropriate records, files, and processes to ensure smooth and compliant financial operations for the organization, focusing on accuracy and transparency.

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

· Work with various software systems to manage accounts payables, receivables, and payroll.

· Process and file tax reports (weekly, monthly, and annually).

· Perform all day to day bookkeeping responsibilities, including account reconciliations and report analysis.

· Maintain appropriate documentation of records, including equipment, credit applications, and others as required.

- Work with external accounting firm during annual review engagement.

- Manage contract documentation and subcontractor documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

· At minimum, college diploma in accounting/bookkeeping. (Degree in accounting, finance, or business administration (MBA), or a professional certification such as CPA is considered an asset.)

· At least five years of experience in accounting or finance.

· Experience working with ERP systems in manufacturing environments.

· Bilingualism considered an asset.

· Great attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and good concentration.

· Autonomy, initiative and a sense of responsibility.

· An excellent team player.

· The ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize.

· Your own means of transport (no public transit available).
