About This Job

We are looking for a qualified Bookkeeper to assist in activities regarding the data monitoring and entry for our Mitten Mart Convenience Store. You will undertake a variety of tasks such as auditing/balancing division paperwork receiving and processing invoices. The ideal candidate will be a thorough professional with good communication abilities. The goal is to carry out all bookkeeping procedures with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

•

Audit division paperwork for Convenience Stores by verifying, allocating, and posting details of transactions to accounts.

•

Reconciles and balances accounts by maintaining accounting records.

•

Compiles reports to show statistics such as over & shorts, bank deposits, and other store information for final posting.

•

Prepare bank deposits by compiling data from cashiers, verifying receipts, and sending cash, checks, or other forms of payment to the Corporate Accounting team

•

Skills

•

Proven experience as a bookkeeper

•

Familiarity with general accounting principles

•

Experience in data collection, entry, and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality

•

Computer savvy with working knowledge of related accounting software or the ability to learn new software quickly

•

Exquisite math and numerical skills

•

Outstanding organizational and time management skills with attention to detail

•

Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving

•

High school diploma or equivalent required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
