Requirements:
•Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Credentials: Preferred Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP designations.
•Skills: Strong communication, confidentiality, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Solid understanding of FMLA, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), ADA, workers’ compensation, and retirement plans. Comfortable using Excel and HR/payroll software.

A Day in the Life:
•Support Employee Benefits: Process enrollments, terminations, changes, claims, and compliance tasks while supporting employees and managing carrier relationships.
•Coordinate Leave & Worker’s Comp: Manage Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), disability, and worker’s compensation claims.
•Contribute to Compensation Planning: Collect and analyze market data to support wage strategies and support annual planning.
•Drive Retirement Readiness: Partner with employees and leaders to provide tools and resources for retirement and succession planning.
•Support Payroll: Collaborate with payroll on coding, backup processing, and compliance with union contracts and law.
Additional Details:
•Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Braham, MN Headquarters building.
•Hybrid Option: This position may offer a hybrid work arrangement after a training period.
