•Health Benefits Management:
•Design, implement, and manage health benefit programs, ensuring competitive offerings for employees.
•Collaborate with insurance providers to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and stay informed about industry trends.
•Wellness Program Development:
•Develop and implement employee wellness initiatives to promote a healthy and engaged workforce.
•Evaluate program effectiveness, analyze participation data, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
•Leave of Absence Administration:
•Oversee and administer all aspects of leave programs, ensuring compliance with relevant federal and state regulations.
•Provide guidance to employees and managers on leave policies and procedures.
•Manage the workers' compensation program, including claims processing, documentation, and coordination with insurance carriers.
•Partner with managers on managing light duty and return to work.
•Administer the company's 401(k) program, including enrollment, contributions, and compliance monitoring.
•Coordinate communication and education efforts to enhance employee understanding of retirement benefits.
•Compliance and Reporting:
•Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations related to benefits and ensure compliance.
•Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
•Establish and maintain relationships with benefit vendors, ensuring service level agreements are met.
•Conduct regular vendor reviews and negotiate contracts to optimize services and costs.
•Develop and deliver communication strategies to educate employees about available benefits and wellness programs.
•Conduct workshops and informational sessions to enhance employee understanding.

What You’ll Need To Have For Success
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification is a plus.
•Proven experience (7-10 years) in benefits administration, including health benefits, leave programs, workers' compensation, and 401(k) administration.
•In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations governing employee benefits.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface effectively with employees at all levels.
