Job Overview
We’re hiring a dependable Auto Mechanic with experience in light diesel, hydraulics, electrical, and fabrication work. If you enjoy hands-on problem‑solving and working on a variety of trucks, trailers, and equipment, this is a great fit.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain light diesel engines and related components
- Perform fabrication and welding for equipment repairs and custom builds
- Troubleshoot and repair wiring and electrical systems
- Service and maintain hydraulic systems, pumps, hoses, and valves
- Inspect, repair, and maintain cranes, trailers, flatbeds, and PTO-driven equipment
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Maintain accurate service records and follow company safety procedures
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding repair needs and timelines
- Conduct auto body repairs and welding tasks to restore vehicle aesthetics and structural integrity.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.- 3+ years of experience as an auto or diesel mechanic (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals
- Welding/fabrication experience required
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
- Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic software effectively.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools.
- Experience working on Ford vehicles is a plus.
- Certification from an accredited automotive technician program is preferred but not mandatory.
