Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.

- Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, shocks & struts, and powertrain assemblies.

- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance.

- Work on diesel engines and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to enhance vehicle safety features.

- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs; weld and perform auto body repairs as needed.

- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical problems.

- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership or independent shop background preferred.

- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, especially GM vehicles.

- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting.

- Experience with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, welding, and diesel engine repair is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with automotive estimating software and auto body repair techniques is a plus.

- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.

- Valid mechanic certification or equivalent technical training; ASE certification is a plus.

Pay: $26.54 - $31.97 per hour
