Job Summary
An Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for overseeing and analyzing a company’s accounts receivable to ensure timely customer payments and the accuracy of financial records. This role involves managing incoming payments related to joint interest billing activities, accurately applying them to customer accounts, performing account reconciliations, and addressing any discrepancies. Additionally, the accountant may handle collections, respond to customer inquiries, and generate financial reports to support decision-making and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
